The New Boston Select Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Chief James Brace for serving the Town of New Boston for over 14 years.

He has served this community with pride both in and out of uniform, bringing incredible dedication and leadership as New Boston Police Chief. During his 14-year tenure, he served as a constant source of energy, creativity, and commitment to our community. His legacy is in the countless lives he touched and enriched.

Jim put his heart and soul into this position and his other endeavors for the town including serving as Interim Town Administrator and as Chair of many town committees over the years.

He brought the Police Department to what it is today. We would also like to recognize and thank him for spending hundreds of hours of his own time bringing the police station renovation to a close. Without his perseverance and diligence, the renovation would not have happened.

As he embarks on this new and well-deserved chapter of retirement, we wish him joy, adventure, and relaxation. His contributions will not be forgotten.
